High-minded people look beyond the surface of reality to the truth beneath.

A high-minded man appreciates a woman’s body, but he is captivated by the beauty of her soul.

He hears her words, but focusses on what she actually wants.

He sees her form, but is in love with her essence.

The low-minded man sees none of the hidden things, because he can only see with his eyes:
